Glutaraldehyde

In the industrial sector, glutaraldehyde can be used in the tanning of leather or as a chemical intermediate in the manufacture of adhesives and electrical equipment. It can also be used as a preservative in certain chemicals such as softeners and cosmetics. In hospitals, as part of the decontamination of endoscopes, glutaraldehyde allows cleaning of the devices and deposits a protective film.
